Reels & Rivers is a full day on the Quality Waters of the San Juan, one of the most storied trout rivers in the West, in a drift boat with a professional guide who rows this water all season and knows it bend by bend. Two anglers per boat means real teaching, not a demonstration: you'll learn to read current, cast with purpose, and net your first rainbow or wild brown... or your twentieth with a patient expert at the oars all day. Five years of ladies' float days have taught us exactly how the rest goes: strangers at the morning put-in, lunch shared on the riverbank, inside jokes and good friends by takeout. No experience required. No performance expected. And the name is plural on purpose: the San Juan is where this day begins, not where it ends. There are more rivers on our list, and this one is first.
